About PDFCraft

PDFCraft is a free, open-source PDF editor for Windows, macOS, Linux, FreeBSD, and modern browsers. It is designed for people who want to work with documents privately and locally, without an account, cloud uploads, subscriptions, or telemetry. PDFCraft lets users read and search PDFs, organize and reorder pages, combine and split documents, add annotations and highlights, fill forms, add basic signatures, protect files, and redact sensitive information. The native desktop application and WebAssembly browser version are built in Rust and support multiple writing systems, including CJK, right-to-left text, and emoji. PDFCraft is currently alpha software: reliable editing of existing text, broad Office conversion, and advanced OCR are still in development. Visit the official website for the project and its latest releases.
