Askie is an AI companion designed from the ground up for children aged 4 to 15, not a filtered adult chatbot with a kids mode bolted on.
It started when my own child asked ChatGPT about dangerous snakes and got an answer aimed at adults. The response was accurate, and it was also frightening enough to cost him sleep. That gap between technically correct and appropriate for a seven year old is the problem Askie exists to solve.
Kids talk to Askie by voice, the way they would ask a curious adult. Askie answers questions, helps with homework, tells stories, and generates illustrations, all tuned to the child's age. Responses are calibrated so a four year old and a fourteen year old asking the same question get genuinely different answers.
Parents get a dashboard with the full conversation history. Not a summary, not a safety score, the actual transcripts. Trust comes from being able to read what your child asked and what Askie said back.
Askie is COPPA-compliant and registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office. There are no ads and no data sold to third parties.
