✓ ProsGitHub Copilot is easy to get started with and integrates really well with VS Code. It helps with repetitive coding tasks, boilerplate code, and explaining unfamiliar code. I use it regularly, and it has definitely improved my productivity for day-to-day development.
✗ ConsI wasn’t a fan of the move to consumption-based pricing, as it makes costs less predictable compared to a fixed subscription. I also miss having access to Anthropic models, as I found them useful for certain coding and reasoning tasks. The suggestions are generally good, but I still review everything carefully, especially for larger changes.
