Tale is an open-source project workspace for teams and AI agents. It brings teammates, tasks, files, and conversations into shared projects so people can plan work, assign it to agents, follow progress, and review the delivered results. Agents work in persistent sandboxes with the instructions, tools, and project context configured for them.
Teams can use Tale for software delivery, marketing campaigns, research, reports, and recurring operational work. The platform combines task boards, shared knowledge, workflows, connectors, permissions, and audit records. It supports preferred agent runtimes and models, including existing supported subscriptions or API-backed providers.
The Community edition includes the full feature set and is free to self-host. Enterprise adds professional support, operation, and services, with cloud or self-hosted deployment options. Teams choose where their workspace runs and which models their agents use.
