Last day of the boost
The 50 percent Claude Code weekly increase ends at 11:59pm PT tonight. It ran from 13 May and was extended four times from an original 13 July deadline.
Most coverage has been arithmetic — 100 before May, 150 today, a reported 125 tomorrow. Accurate, and it does not tell you whether you are affected. Only your own consumption against today's ceiling does that, and today is the last day it exists.
Anything above 83 percent of today's weekly bar exceeds tomorrow's ceiling. Below that, this does not affect you.

One thing worth knowing about the number
The replacement level of 25 percent above baseline appears in the ClaudeDevs post from 29 August and, as of today, on no Anthropic-owned documentation page. The Help Center states only that weekly limits return to their standard levels.
Standard could mean the pre-May baseline. Reported says 125. That is a quarter of your weekly capacity between two claims, which is another reason to measure rather than calculate.
Grok arrives in Office
Microsoft added xAI models to Copilot across Word, Excel, PowerPoint, GitHub Copilot and workplace tools, announced by Satya Nadella on 12 September. Admin-enabled for Frontier customers, and not available in the EU, EFTA or the UK during preview.
Microsoft is OpenAI's largest investor and now ships Anthropic and xAI models inside the same interface. That makes Copilot a model marketplace rather than a product with a model in it.

The OpenAI listing window closed
Altman told Fortune that a listing now would be an ill-advised moment given safety concerns, answering "I would say not 2026" and declining to confirm 2027. The confidential S-1 was filed on 8 June targeting September; the public prospectus never appeared on EDGAR.
On the same day, Amodei published an essay urging labs to pace frontier capability gains so safety can catch up — and Altman and Musk both backed it publicly. Three direct rivals agreeing is the more unusual event.
